Minnie is a pretty bluetick coonhound from West Virginia. She was an owner surrender after she had an accidental litter with another resident dog. All of the puppies found homes and the owners decided to rehome her as well. Minnie is now in a Rhode Island foster home and is ready for visits.
Minnie sleeps all night in her crate and is also comfortable going there for rest periods. Minnie will do well as an only dog or with another dog for play and companionship. She’s about 2 yrs old and weighs about lbs. Rosie is a sweet and friendly hound from southwest Virginia who recently arrived in Massachusetts.
Eeyore is a handsome bluetick coonhound from Virginia. He’s lived in a home and likes nothing better than just hanging out with his people. Eeyore is housebroken, walks well on a leash, and knows some obedience commands like sit, stay down. Eeyore loves to ride in the car and enjoys his time exploring the yard and napping in the sun.
He’s always up for adventure and ready to meet new people. Milo was found stray with his littermate in Virginia. Milo is about 9 months old and should have an adult weight around 50 lbs. SPECIAL NEEDS – Cooper is a yr old treeing walker coonhound with severe vision loss.
He came to us from Virginia and has been living with a local family for 6 months. Cooper gets along well with other dogs and does great at a doggie day care. He’s very cuddly and enjoys his snuggle time; he’s fine meeting new people. He’s housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. Cooper does well in the car and will jump right into the backseat. He’ll need structure and routine in a new home and we are seeking someone with experience with vision impaired dogs.
